Senior Accountant

Overview

The Senior Accountant, a key member of the Accounting department, is responsible for supporting the day to day accounting operations of the team, and ensuring that financial activities are aligned with company goals and objectives

Primary Responsibilities

  • Cash – all treasury functions, including daily cash monitoring, forecasting, preparing cash/bank reconciliations, and direct bank interaction
  • Fixed Assets – maintain subledger, detailed reconciliation and invoice support for auditors; ensure compliance with company’s capitalization and depreciation policies; communicate with organization to ensure accuracy of fixed asset ledger (IT and operations); Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations and submit for review and approval
  • Team with Controller to drive the monthly closing process and meet deadlines
  • Help the Controller with interpreting financial month-end results
  • Assist with development of various internal control processes including tie out procedures and documentation
  • Support annual audit and help meet audit deadlines
  • Hands on preparation of various local and state jurisdictions including Personal Property, Sales & Use, and Franchise tax filings
  • Maintain schedules and adhere to filing and reporting deadlines
  • Supervise compliance processes and audit of DIR and GSA transactions and reporting, including weekly internet order review for GSA

Job Requirements

  • Prior hands-on Sales Tax experience
  • Must have problem solving, process improvement, and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5-10 years of progressive accounting related experience in a large to medium scale environment
  • CPA preferred
  • Proficient Excel
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and a strong understanding of internal controls
  • Comprehensive understanding of analytical and business process procedures with proficiency in reading and interpreting financial and operating results
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and present technical and functional analysis to senior levels

Digital Marketing Copywriter

Overview

Observint Technologies is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Copywriter, responsible for creating product and sales content for a variety of mediums and forms, in support of our direct selling companies (Supercircuits and Security Cameras Direct) and a nationwide network of reseller partners. The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, highly proficient in developing compelling customer-facing content, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

The Digital Marketing Copywriter will report to the company’s Director of Marketing, work directly with our marketing, sales and product management teams, and must effectively collaborate and communicate with these cross-functional stakeholders.

Success in this role will be measured by increased consideration and conversion, and the effective packaging and syndication of content across all company vehicles.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Development of new – and editing of existing – product content for a fast-growing portfolio of video surveillance, access control, and related technologies
  • Creation of related content to educate our audiences and effectively drive increased consideration and conversion
  • Collaboration with our product teams to understand product features and benefits, translating them into compelling and organized content
  • Collaboration with our sales and marketing teams to understand the unique needs of our various customer segments and related applications
  • Working closely with marketing vehicle owners, developing and/or packaging content to support their specific needs, including: catalog, product documentation, email, websites, blogs and social media
  • Effective management, distribution and/or syndication of all content

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience writing in corporate and/or agency roles
  • Out-of-this-world writing, proofreading, editing, and grammar skills, with a solid portfolio that demonstrates both creative and technical writing ability
  • Ability to understand technical features and produce compelling copy that clearly articulates a product’s benefits
  • Ability to write with consistent quality, brand voice, tone and style
  • Experience writing both technical content and promotional copy

Technical Support Specialist

Overview

This position supports Supercircuits’ customers with the installation, initial configuration, set up and troubleshooting of security monitoring systems. This person will join a team with the specific goal of providing customer support over the phone, email, and chat. The position requires no travel to customer locations (unless desired). This role is part of a larger technical support team and requires strong technical skills as defined below. Some IT responsibilities may be needed if the skillset and opportunity match up. Only truly “highly-motivated” people will be considered. The goal of this role is to bring a professional and team oriented person to a premier support team that will lead to excellent customer experiences at a high volume. Flexibility is required as demand will change from time to time with the business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls, emails, and chats from customers and support the following types of questions or issues:
    • Installation
    • Configuration/initial set up
    • General use & maintenance
    • Troubleshooting & failure diagnosis
    • Set up returns for equipment failures reasons
  • Execution of duties requires interface with a variety of computer/network applications and enterprise level telephony equipment. Managed Client Team
  • Test and diagnose product returned by customers
  • Assist with enterprise IT needs
  • Document all customer interactions and the issue resolution process

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (ie. Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to follow and understand processes
  • Solid understanding of electronics and electrical components (prefer A+ certified)
  • Solid understanding of computer networking and network troubleshooting (prefer Network+, CCNP, or CCNA certified)

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling our products & services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. The Inside Sales Representative will reach business targets through excellent telephone sales and communications skills. This individual will also develop his or her phone-based revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, consultative sales approach and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. Job Requirements

Compensation & Benefits

The targeted annual compensation for this position is commensurate with your experience. The compensation package has both base + commission elements (60/40 split – 60% base, 40% target commission), with no cap on commission so your compensation is limited only by your ability to sell.
