The Observint management team possesses a wealth of security and IT industry experience. The company's board of directors includes two former SDM 100 security company executives, and Dell's former head of Americas manufacturing.

Brian Wood, CEO & Chairman of the Board
Brian is the CEO of Observint Technologies and has served as Chairman of the Board since the organization was formed and acquired Supercircuits in August 2006.
Prior to joining the team, Brian spent 18 years with Dell, Inc., where he held a variety of executive and general management roles including VP/GM of the Dell US Public Sector business and VP/GM of the Dell Large Enterprise business. Prior to joining Dell, Brian was a faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin and an independent consultant.
Brian holds a B.S. degree in Biology from Emory University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Troy West, Operating Partner
As Operating Partner, Troy is focused on applying his experience in developing high growth, high performance organizations; transformation of go-to-market models; and implementation of business management systems to better serve Observint’s customers.
Prior to his role at Observint, Troy was an executive with Dell for 25 years, with a focus on P&L accountability over diverse domestic and international business segments. In his previous position as Vice President and General Manager of Dell’s $2 billion Federal segment, Troy focused on enabling government customers to adopt IT environments using disruptive technologies including cloud computing, data center modernization, mobility and cyber security solutions to help them operate more flexibly and cost-effectively.
Troy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Texas, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Caritas of Austin and Austin Hills Young Life.
Emily Blunt, Chief Financial Officer
Emily has been with Observint Technologies since 2010, and in her capacity as Chief Financial Officer, she oversees the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the company. She also manages human resources, legal, and treasury functions for Observint.
Previously, Emily was with NCSoft as the Controller, responsible for their monthly close process, financial analysis and reporting, year-end, IRS and sales tax audits. Prior to that, she held a similar position at Esoterix, a medical laboratory now owned by LabCorp. Emily spent the first 6 years of her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in their Audit and Business Advisory Services where she audited over 25 companies primarily in the technology, and oil and gas industries. While with PwC, she also served on the internal audit team at Compaq for 2 years, where she focused on internal controls and risk management.
Emily is a Certified Public Accountant and received her B.A. in Accounting from Southwestern University.
Roger Norman, Chief Operating Officer
Roger manages operations for all Observint portfolio companies, including IT, supply chain, fulfillment, and other shared services. Roger has served as COO for Observint since 2006.
Prior to joining the team, Roger spent 6 years in sales and operations at Dell in the Corporate and Public sectors. In addition to Dell, Roger has worked in a variety of operations and financial roles for W.R. Grace, Bell South, and Asarco.
Roger holds a B.S. degree in Finance and Management from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Texas A&M University.
George Farley, Chief Marketing Officer
George manages the general marketing and communication strategies for Observint and its portfolio companies. George has served as CMO for Observint since January of 2007.
Prior to joining the team, George spent 4 years in the Dell Consumer Segment, most recently as Senior Brand Manager of Dell's premium XPS desktop and notebook product lines. Previously, George was an entrepreneur, operating a chemical sales and service company in Chicago, and spent 5 years in software development & business development for Bloomberg Markets in New York City.
George holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
